A Dream Hawaii Wedding at Kaimea Estate 🌺✨
When we say every detail was perfect - we mean it. From the napkins (yes, even the napkins!) to the personalized menus, K + R’s wedding day at the breathtaking Kaimea Estate was one for the books.
This sweet couple chose Jasper and Lace as their full-service wedding planner and florist, which meant we were with them every step of the way. Full-service planning covers everything from vendor sourcing and budget management, to timelines, design, and on-site coordination. Basically: we handle all the moving pieces so you can enjoy your engagement stress-free (and focus on the fun parts - like cake tasting 🍰).
A Welcome Party to Remember 🌴🍹
The celebrations began the night before at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel’s beachfront restaurant, Azure, where we designed the florals, décor, and setup for their chic welcome party. It was the perfect kickoff to their wedding weekend - laid-back, tropical, and filled with excitement.
Wedding Morning Vibes
On the big day, K + R got ready at the Royal Hawaiian with their closest friends and family. The energy was pure joy - music playing, laughter echoing, everyone buzzing with anticipation. The bride also created the cutest welcome bags filled with wedding-week essentials (seriously, such a thoughtful touch!).
The Venue: Kaimea Estate 🌊🌺
Nestled in the neighborhood of Hawaiʻi Kai, Kaimea Estate is one of our favorite venues for intimate weddings of 60 guests or less. It sits right on a beachfront lot overlooking the ocean, making it a dreamy backdrop for both vows and sunset cocktails. Couples love the cozy, private feel while still having that “wow” Hawaiian scenery. Kaimea Estate offers the following in most of their packages:
Licensed wedding officiant, wedding certificate, and wooden wedding arbor
On‑site ceremony attendant
Access to a dressing suite (2 bathrooms, living and dining areas, garden, pool (unable to swim in it) & ocean lanais, kitchen)
Concierge services provided by Kaimea Estates
Shuttle service
Self‑serve coffee station
Water & lemonade station
Tables, chairs, linens, napkins, basic china, flatware, water goblets, and toasting flutes for up to 50 guests
Setup & breakdown, plus trash removal
House sound system (microphone + iPhone hookup)
Details That Stole the Show ✨🐾
The design for K + R’s day was the perfect ode to a Hawaiian summer - bright, fresh, and timeless. One standout was the custom signage by Design Mine Oahu. Alex and her team went above and beyond, even including the couple’s pups (who couldn’t be there in person) in the design details. Talk about heart-melting!
Their ceremony took place under the property’s plumeria tree (does it get more romantic than that?), and the reception was filled with signature cocktails, laughter, and tears during some of the most heartfelt speeches we’ve ever heard.
Each menu was personalized with guest names and meal choices, printed in elegant gold lettering. The entire tablescape was truly a work of art - proof that yes, every detail matters.

From the welcome party to the final dance, this was the kind of wedding that reminds us why we love what we do. K + R’s dream of celebrating love in beautiful Oʻahu came true, and we were honored to bring their vision to life.
